Take my bedroom for example. You know that I've been redecorating slowly. I have painted the room, moved a few bookshelves into the room, switched up some furniture, and given two white frames some free art. Cost of everything so far? Nothing. Nada. All F.R.E.E.
I'll give you pictures of the room when everything is completely finished, (still need to finish the lamps, make a headboard, throw down some rugs) but right now I want to talk about the free art.
Have you have flipped through a pad of scrapbooking paper or walked down the aisles of Michael's or your favourite local scrapbooking store and drooled over all the gorgeous designs?
Well consider framing those papers as art in your home. Easy, simple, and costs pennies.
These pieces are from the package I bought from Home Sense a couple weeks back. The bird piece was so beautiful that I just had to frame it.
Find paper that you love, cut it to fit the frame, and there you have it! Beautiful, unique artwork that is easy to switch up if you ever want to change it.
So clever and pretty! (and thrifty!) I love it :)
ReplyDeletelove it - simple and frugal - that's my style! Now, if only I could find the time to dedicate to such projects!
ReplyDeleteI have so many frames that don't go with our decor andymore. I need to paint them and get some fun prints in them too!
