Last week I started having truck troubles. I have a wonderful truck but sometimes it seems to have a mind of its own. It wouldn't start for me and any time I wanted to go somewhere, I had to have it boosted. That can get annoying.
That was number one on my list of things to do today. The other was buying a lawn mower. After lots of careful deliberating, we decided to put off building our deck until he was able to be home to work on it, and get a lawn mower instead. We were both tired of our house being the worst looking on our road!
So after getting my truck fixed this morning, I went off to the dealer and bought a lawn mower as well.

I feel so happy and grown-up! I am now the proud owner of a lawn mower and a weed whacker. Yay!
So that's what has been happening in my life lately. Not really anything DIY but I am trying to make my house better looking, does that count?
Hopefully I'll be back on Thursday for something more interesting for you guys.
A ride on mower!! Fancy! We have a silly push mower.... but with the hills in our yards, I think a ride mower would flip over! Have 'fun' with your new ride :)
