Wrapping Your Way to Christmas Day

Since it seems that every year the Christmas season creeps up on us (me especially), I have taken a vow to overcome the procrastinator in me, and be prepared. That being said, its time to wrap.

found, here, here here, here here & here

There is something about brown paper packaging that I love. Maybe its the simplicity of it, or the pretty string that you can tie in a bow on top. All I know it is one of my favourite ways to wrap a present (and one of the cheapest!).

All you need is brown wrapping paper, scotch tape, and string or ribbon of your choice.
It is not too difficult to wrap a present if you are precise in the way you fold the paper and the corners. It also helps to have a good brand of tape to hold the paper in place.

I love the way the presents look under the Christmas tree when they are all in coordinating colours. I hope this helps get you inspired to get a jump start on your gift wrapping! What are some of the ways you like to wrap gifts? Maybe you like using gift bags, or bright coloured paper with a flashy bow on top. Whatever your choice, I hope you enjoy your gift wrapping this year!

  2. I think you and Kelly are just reaching in and letting your inner "Julie Andrews" out..."brown paper packages tied up with strings, these are a few of my favourite things..." Love sound of music and love your blog! :)

  3. @kmhmurphy It's true! And while writing this post... the song may have been playing in my head! But why wouldn't you think of Sound of Music while talking about brown paper packaging :)
