Wine Bottle Glamour

There seems to be a million and one ways to "Decorate Your Home for Christmas", and it is probably true! That being said, you don't need to crowd your home with every stuffed snowman, hang every ornament you own, or make each craft... except this one.

I pinned this idea awhile ago, and have been waiting for the perfect time to make it, and finally had my chance.

I started out by soaking three wine bottles in hot water to remove the labels. It didn't take long to scratch them off, and then I was left with a "blank canvas".

I used a white primer and sprayed the bottles with two light coats.

Once the paint dried I sprayed a thin layer of craft adhesive on the bottles and rolled them in the epsom salts.

yes, I used a gift bag as the "drop cloth"
Once all the bottles had enough "snow" on them, I arranged them on my coffee table with a few silver Christmas ornaments and a candle. The snowy effect glistens in the candlelight and adds a bit of sparkly-goodness to the living room.

What Christmas crafts have you made recently to dress up your home for the holidays? Did you find ideas off of Pinterest, or dream them up yourself? This craft will be linked up to hi sugarplum's blog, as well as a few more posts of ours throughout the month of December. Check out her blog for lots of ideas that people are posting, and get inspired for the holidays!
